Inspire and Achieve!

What is your vision for the future of Sequim Branch Library?

The Library building at 630 N. Sequim Ave. which serves the entire Sequim/Dungeness Valley area, was constructed in 1983---thirty years ago!  At that time, the library housed approximately 39,000 items (mostly books).  Today, the Sequim Branch is full to the brim with over 55,000 items (including books, DVD's, audiobooks, magazines and music CD's), and provides access to hundreds of e-books, downloadable audiobooks and other e-resources, and to 21 public computers.  In 2012, customers of the Sequim Branch Library checked out more than 437,000 items!

As previously promised, the North Olympic Library System is now undertaking a community-based vision process to help determine the future role of the Sequim Branch and explore the feasibility of an expansion.  Your help is needed!  Please share your thoughts by taking the online survey available at http://svy.mk/14ifulg and attending the Library Visioning meeting on Tuesday, July 9 @ 6 p.m. at the Sequim Branch Library.  Your input will help the Library identify community priorities regarding future library services, activities and facilities.

Thank you!
